Supposedly, the angry husband — or one of his associates — was at the Lake Streety location when Springfield showed up first, after dark Friday night. The first murder took place almost immediately.
The younger two showed up soon after, as per a prearranged plan. They were murdered so they couldn't be witnesses.

There’s been rumor-level info floating around that the oldest of the three (Kevin Springfield) was having an affair with a woman; her husband had a “full-out brawl” with Springfield the morning of the day the murders occurred.
Money, drugs and/or women covers 99% of these types of cases.
I’m surprised this doesn’t happen more often (if the rumor is true).
