I posted this on another thread but probably better suited here.
Exactly how much of Americas future prosperity are you willing to risk for this virus? The real effects of this virus are not being felt in the death count, but in the utter destruction of America. Our economy, our schools, our young ones very future.
We are sacrificing American youths future on an alter of fear. It is a travesty.
Stop the madness, end ALL the shutdowns, end ALL the masks/social distancing. If you want to save America, you need to end it ALL.
The simple questions everyone needs to ask themselves is this: Is this virus bad enough to destroy America over? Did our grandfathers, and their grandfathers, and their grandfathers all the way to the beginning, endure more or less than us? Did they sacrifice, for the good of America, more or less than us? Will you let their sacrifice be in vain, to toss so precious a gift, as our freedom, at the feet of a virus?
Everyone condoning the reaction to this virus should be ashamed of themselves. History will look down on you, and those who have fought and died for this country, have to be rolling over in their graves right now.
Shame on you for not understanding that which was handed to you....
Well stated.
There is much wrong with your argument, though it is well stated.
I believe, as Trump has said, America’s economy is strong and can recover from this and worse. Let us not lose sight of the real threat to it, which is even the source of this virus, China. China had gutted America’s industrial and economic strength even before releasing this plague onto the world.
The value of our so-called “schools” is evidenced in the streets now, everyday. Ignorant fools, who are its products, are ready to follow Marxists, 100 years out of step.
There is much wrong in America which certainly threatens its future more than this virus.
If it takes “shutdowns” to end America’s abandonment of its economic and industrial independence, or to end the unionized so-called “education” of its children by Marxists, it sounds like a good trade to me. Americans should not be afraid of this virus, or of fixing the serious issues that face us.
