Some rumors Trump intends to replace Pence with Flynn.

“Batten down the hatch”. Apparently, Batten is Pence’s wife’s nickname or something.

I don’t think it will happen. If Pence does retire it will be because he’s done doing the heavy lifting. The VP under Trump is not the usual slot.

Re “Batten down the hatches.”

Batten is Mrs. Pence’s maiden name.
She also got a note at the funeral.
She’s a teacher. They tend to be liberals.

Definitions of Batten:

Noun
a small board or strip of wood used for various building purposes, as to cover joints between boards, reinforce certain doors, or supply a foundation for lathing.
a transverse iron or steel strip supporting the flooring strips of a metal fire escape.
Nautical.
a thin strip of wood inserted in a sail to keep it flat.
a thin, flat length of wood or metal used for various purposes, as to hold the tarpaulin covering a hatch in place.

verb (used with object)
to furnish or bolster with battens.
Nautical. to cover (a hatch) so as to make watertight (usually followed by down).
Machinery. to secure (work) to a table or bed for a machining operation.

“Batten down the hatches” is a warning to prepare for trouble.
Nautical connotation.
Chinese ships confrontation?
Confrontations with Antifa in the cities this week?

“Down the hatch“ can also mean to swallow something.
Maybe someone took the bait or swallowed some disinformation.

“Down the hatch“ is sometimes used as a toast when drinking.

The vid Q linked was a battleship lighting up the darkness with ammo.
On a target. Engaging an enemy. Fighting in the dark. Dark to light.

There are so many choices, as usual with Q drops. I’m leaning toward the interpretation that it was a warning to prepare for a bumpy week ahead.
