Way back in the beginning when FR was delving into the Clinton crimes we had no internet in rural areas. I had a co-worker who printed of the best of FR each evening and dropped them on my desk at work. I enjoyed those daily until we finally got internet in the boonies. Within a few days of internet at home I signed up on FR.
That is so cool. I think that’s why I find this so sad. I remember posts about Vince Foster, Ron Brown. People actually investigated stuff, just like on these Q threads. i could be wrong, but I really started sensing a shift during the Obama birth certificate stuff. Once our side started chiming in with the name calling, like birther, it was pretty much no longer investigated.
We’re still not allowed to step out of the approved narrative related to nine eleven, contact, etc.
I think you probably have the right of it there. I went into lurk mode about then too. There was good research done by a few but so many snark comments. Much like when trolls drop in new Q threads.
I also lurked on the Q threads the first 6 months or so, but there was so much great research by a good core group that it "looked like" the FR of the late 90's. I couldn't resist jumping in.
I'm hopeful that this group manages to hold onto our corner. But if we get booted out, I'm gone.
