I'm getting tired of going back and forth on whether we need police or not. I am perfectly fine in protecting myself and calling the coroner to pick up the dead body if someone tries to make me a victim of crime. The police are very rarely at the scene of a crime while it is occurring. I don't expect them to be in most cases. Why do they need to be after the problem is solved? They will only cause problems for me when I exercise my 2a rights to defend myself from criminals.

Police prove to be absent all too many times when they know a crime is going to take place. Take Chicago on any weekend. Where are they in Portland? Seattle? Any large city? They turn their heads, and even worse, kneel with these BLM/Antifa types. Do they protect businesses from being looted? Do they protect businesses from being burned?

Then the FBI is an entirely different matter. They actively work against America.

I feel rather unmotivated to stand up for police. I'm not against them, but I don't want my tax dollars wasted on one of the few government services that I previously thought necessary if they don't want to do their jobs.

There was a time when protecting yourself was the norm. A armed society is a polite society.
