It makes me think of WWII. All those people gathering around the radio, waiting for news from the war. Hearing of battles and lives lost, set backs and ships sunk. While some must have despaired - I feel like many came through with more gumption than I see today. “Setbacks? WE’RE DOOOOOOOOOMED!”
Frustrating delays (FISA/RUSSIA HOAX) have GOT to be more tolerable than hearing of thousands lives lost in devastating losses on land, at sea, and in the air.

Perhaps they WERE the “greatest generation” when it came to fortitude.
