The Federal Courthouse is federal property and deserves our protection - even if the rest of the city burns. I doubt that the troops deployed by DHS are defending any parks or grocery stores - that's the jurisdiction of the city police.

Sounds like the perfect time to actually CUT government. Close the federal buildings and return the property to the people of Oregon. Every conservative talks of smaller government but when there’s opportunity to close government facilities and send the employees into the private sector where they might actually be productive then suddenly smaller government sounds radical.

You may support this and that’s fine. I’m just pointing out a couple things. first just keep in mind these unaccountable fully militarized federal agencies will someday be controlled by a commie democrat. As a side note do you know we have more armed federal agents than Canada has military troops? You could actually add another country or two and still not equal the total of federal agents with police power. I will say again be careful what we wish for and think carefully about what we are cheering on.

How many such “unaccountable fully militarized” federal agencies are there? And did they all suddenly materialize under the Trump administration, or were they already up and running during the commie democrat who was elected in ‘08 and ‘12?
There are literally dozens of them. No they were around long before Trump but they all up armored heavily under obama. They were also completely politicized and weaponized under obama. See what has been happening just in the FBI and multiply that by a thousand. When beto O’rourke said “of course we are going to take your AR15s“ ask yourself. Where does the arrogance of these leftist office holders and candidates come from? What gives these people the belief the government could just “take” arms from the people? The answer is a hundred thousand plus armed federal agents all with access to military equipment ready to take orders. Like all totalitarians, they get arrogant and aggressive once they believe they have the power to forcefully impose their will on the people. We have had our heads in the sand while the federal government has quietly been building an army that is not accountable to the people. We don’t have to really worry with President Trump in charge but what do we do when that time ends?
We aren’t but the people we elect are corrupt. They will doxx, cancel or intimidate you, burn your churches, tear down your statues and steal you money every paycheck while funding terror and uprooting your society.
But to fight back, they would probably hurt you and your family both physically and financially.
