I have repeatedly pointed out, in response to the cancel culture targeting me over my criticism of the Black Lives Matter movement, that things have changed on campuses in ways most people don’t fully appreciate.
The new activism surrounding race is completely at odds with the traditional goals of the civil rights movement — that all people be treated with dignity and afforded the protections of our laws without regard to race.

My grandfather graduated from Cornell Military Institute (now Cornell university) in 1910 and was a WWI veteran. I’m sure he Is spinning in his grave now. The next time I go to Phoenix, I’ll check.

I don’t think a lawsuit would be successful. Absent a well-written contract, the Cornell students and faculty will just have eat their peas, or find another college.
If the conversation were fair, there’d be a chance that this new educational requirement might have some value. But the conversation will not be fair.
White and Asian folk will have to sit and listen while they are lectured by black radicals. And then the whites and Asians will have to apologize for their privilege. No dissent - however minor - will be tolerated.

It is also time for state legislatures to exercise their oversight function over the publicly funded universities, secondary schools and primary schools.
It is also time for parents to refuse to subsidize their children’s attendance at indoctrination centers.
I am hoping that a lot of parents are finding out that they can do a better job at home with the help of home schooling organizations.
