Lake Park West?
Used to pheasant at that location before the school was built. The farmer was a friend of the family.
Not too far off used to target shoot with the RR tracks as a backstop.
Today you’d be calling an attorney to help get you out if you so much as drove by with shotgun on an easy rider rack.
“Lake Park West?”
Yep. We used to hunt rabbits along Army Trail back when it was two lanes and gravel west of Gary. Took our shotguns to school on the bus and left them in the office. Had to bring a note from mom to get on a different bus.
Apparently there was a “social media” post about free food, free beer, and free drugs at that party. Can’t imagine why things went south. Rumor has it the Roselle Village Board is not amused and is working on an ordinance that will ban short term rentals in town.
We still live in the area. Mrs. L takes that street as a shortcut home from her office. It was a nice, quiet, well to do area.
