Nothing sounds better than a V8. I had a 304 in a CJ. Lot’s of low end grunt.
I’ve acquired one. Needs a bit of work.
Did spin over normally. Sounded like a typical 304.
It has the electronic distributor. I tried jumper wiring to get it power just to see if it fire at all.
I’d bring it home but nowhere to park it in a stand. The motor is tarped on a trailer. I have a solenoid on a piece of wood for the initial testing.
So much going on so it’s been neglected.
The CJ7 I hope to use it on has the chassis in powder coat. I expect it any week.
