Yes, this is an exaggeration. The City of Chicago isn't going to be bulldozing churches.

If the article in question wanted to make that case, the author should have included a copy of the threatening letter, as well as something official stating the meaning of "summery abatement."

Anyway, the left is horrible, and might want to bulldoze churches, but the people with power in the city aren't stupid enough to actually try it. At least not now.

Someone should ask Biden if he supports this policy.

“I’m calling on Louisiana to mask up,” Edwards said last week. “Think of wearing masks in public as being polite. It’s being kind. It’s being courteous.”

It’s not illegal to be impolite, unkind or discourteous...yet.

‘I’m rarely speechless’: With violence spiking in Chicago, city’s mayor deploys ‘cowboy’ to enforce… an accurate Census count - https://twitchy.com/dougp-3137/2020/07/13/im-rarely-speechless-with-violence-spiking-in-chicago-citys-mayor-deploys-cowboy-to-enforce-an-accurate-census-count/

Considering that Mayor Groot is a godless perv, I wouldn’t be surprised if it happens.

secondcity:

“Shhh.....Don’t Tell Anyone
Ten recruits and an instructor have tested positive for the Kung Flu since the Academy reopened last week.

Leaving aside that these recruits are close to the best shape of their lives and aren’t really in danger of succumbing to anything worse than a week on the Medical, the reaction of the Department is going to be telling.

You see, the NYPD isn’t the only one suffering from a massive wave of retirements. The CPD is already seeing a big uptick in supervisory retirement as the PBPA Contract was settled - check the AdMin fax messages. There have been between five and ten people leaving every week. Add in the changes at the top and a bunch more are going to see this as their careers ending. Plus, the PBPA negotiated an window for white shirts to leave under the terms of the old Contract before the end of the year and that makes a big difference in the health insurance costs.

So will the Academy plow through the illness wave?

this is scary:

secondcity

“Never Chase Policy
Citizens, you are on your own, regardless of the circumstances:
Someone stole a van with a passenger still inside Saturday after fleeing a crash in the Loop.

Officers saw a 2008 Pontiac sedan run a red light and hit another vehicle at 12:34 a.m. in the 100 block of North Wacker Drive, according to Chicago police. No injuries were reported in the crash.

Four males got out of the Pontiac and ran away, police said. One of them ran to the 100 block of East Wacker, where he got into a 2014 Kia van that was running with a 20-year-old woman in the back seat.

He drove off, eventually leaving the woman at a gas station in the 5900 block of South Ashland Avenue in West Englewood, according to police. She was not hurt.
“not hurt” But forcibly removed from one location to another against her will. That’s kidnapping - a forcible felony. And a termination order was given.

We’ve heard termination orders given for hot cars, accidents and warrants, as they should be.

We’ve also heard termination orders given for UUWs, robberies and aggravated batteries, which looking back, were questionable, but probably the correct calls.

We’ve also heard termination orders given for Shots Fired at the Police and at least three murderers. Once upon a time, we would have questioned these, but nowadays, you take your own chances because they will crucify you if it goes south.

And now we have this kidnapping.

You were all over twenty-one when you hired on, so you make your own call. We’re just letting citizens know, if you or your loved ones are kidnapped, raped, robbed, shot or murdered, the police won’t be allowed pursue.
Labels: general, we got nothing
