9 year olds don’t belong on the internet. too many strangers.

Most social networking sites originally required 13 or above (per state laws on what information they could even obtain) and myspace and others were originally 18 and up. They lowered the age when they did the IPO to increase the number of users.

They require it but they have zero barriers. Just say you have to say you are this or that age.

Minors just shouldn’t have unmonitored internet access. Were I parenting today access would be limited and I’d have spy software on. I’d tell them, nothing sneaky.
