Trademark is associated with USE of the mark or word. Whatever this guy thinks he has, I think he doesn’t.

My thought as well. If he applied for the trademark without intent to "use" it, I believe they consider it a "bad faith" application and will ultimately reject it.

From other posts, it sounds like he is just squatting on domain names.

In trademark, “intent to use” exists, but it’s loaded with minefields!

US Trademark applications are either “in use” or “intend to use,” and the intent type has little value before use occurs. There is no trademark until use, just a filing that gives registration priority to the filer.
