Yes, that is the bottom line. Skin color, height, etc. - none of that matters.
But I will say this. If a white person or congregation wants to envision Jesus as white, that’s fine. Just as if a black person or congregation wants to envision Jesus as black, that’s also fine.
Just don’t lose sight of the fact you might be wrong, and it doesn’t matter anyway.
