I think a variation of what you reference is right on.
I think 95% will turn their guns in too. The last 4 months should have opened our eyes that the vast majority of coservatives (i hate that term, btw... we’ve moved beyond the liberal, conservative paradigm) just aren’t willing or have too much to lose in to defend their rights.
All a part of the “rebuilding”, “restructuring”, “retraining” of the police forces....all a part of the “transformation of America”
Eventually, they will lose it all. Feeding the crocodile only buys a little time. The level of normalcy bias is crippling.
I don’t like the term either.
When the mullahs of Iran can be called ‘conservatives’, the word had lost any meaning and attraction for me.
While those claiming to be ‘liberals’ have stolen the name of a respected political and societal philosophy,
and hide behind it, masking and disguising their totalitarian nature.
They are far, far away from embracing the principles of Classical Liberalism which form the basis of Americanism.

The US gov’t will pull the China Social Credit deal. If you are caught with a gun on yourself or in your home you will lose your drivers license, will not be eligible for any type of loans, will lose your credit cards and lose your SS etc.
