Happy Sunday all...
We have a Halls of Ivy which is lovely...only a few minutes of the Big Show but will take it...never heard of Hello Sucker...and looks like a 10pm drama and ending well with Molle Mystery Theatre...
How’s it going?
Howdy, Vision!
How are you Gina?
"Don't let the term 'Hello Sucker!' refer to youprotect yourself!"
Hello Suckers was created to help protect Chicago consumers and home owners from crooks, cheats, schemes, scams, swindles, rip-offs, and rackets, but also protecting racial minorities from real estate discrimination.
The program is produced in co-operation with The Better Business Bureau of Chicago in 1952.
Hello Suckers is a dramatic reenactment of a consumer falling for a scam.
Interesting, thanks.
Doing fine, Vision. Are you having a good weekend?
Yes, did more work than usual but it’s been great. Today was beautiful. You?
It’s been a scorcher here! In the mid-90s and humid with not much breeze. :-/
Meh. Are early mornings ok?
If you’ve never been to the Mississippi Gulf Coast at this time of year, then you don’t know that in the height of summer there’s not much reprieve at night or early morning. When overnight lows are in the 80s with 80 percent humidity and daytime highs are in the upper 90s with the same humidity, then it’s like a steam bath AND a sauna combined. :-)
Never been.
Good morning, Gina. Remembering the Mississippi Gulf Coast very well though it was 34 years ago. The weather would hold until a nice break of 60 degrees in late September or early October. Now here in the DC area we will get a break in late July or August.
You’re right, Jim. It will be a while before we get a cool snap. :-) That first one of Fall is always so nice!
