In the United Kingdom, when both a saliva test and a nasal test were used and were positive, they were counted as 2 separate cases of Covid-19 (double counting). Both the Department of Health and Social Care and Public Health England acknowledged they had done this. [ransomnote: the names remind me of “the Ministry of Truth”]
Also in the UK, in April public health officials counted thousands of in-home tests mailed to consumers but not completed as positive Covid-19 tests.
She also notes that "Emperor Gavin Newsom" has mandated that people wear masks when walking outside if they can’t maintain social distancing. She contrasts this advice with CA’s Department of Health’s advice re wearing masks during wildfires.
