Just wear it. And take it off when you get out. We all have to here. The thing is, when you see the frightened sweet elderly, you are comforting them by wearing it. It’s sad, it’s a bit dumb, but they have been told by their trusted news sources that it will save them. So just wear it in the shop. Your 20 minutes of shopping is not enough time to get into any kind of argument about personal rights. But for damn sure don’t wear it out on an empty street, on your bike, or alone in your car!
Oh my gosh. I don’t dare but oh my gosh. Around here in Jewville people might wake the f up to what is going on. I wish I had bigger cojones.
Get enough of those masks out there, and the demand for masking will quickly evaporate.
I ran into the UPS store to drop something off - there was a sign and everyone had a mask on so I pulled my shirt up over my mouth.
Everyone was fine with that.

I’ve used that mask/lottery scratcher analogy several times.

The truly sad part is the mask provide zero efficacy in blocking any virus.
If you believe the virus is a real thing, best to get distance between the frail/weak and yourself

Clearly you are projecting, so lemme ask you a serious question, FRiend:
If you truly believe that your mask protects you, then how is anyone NOT wearing a mask a threat to YOU?
The logical consequence of any answer whatsoever is concession that masks are wholly ineffective...or this whole mask thing has nothing whatsoever to do with health.
Thus you are either a troll, or horribly-drunk on Kool-Aid...the latter’s effect one of irrational fear.
This can be worn over the mouth/nose, too (my choice).
In my state, there’s an exemption to those with “medical conditions” (I haven’t been challenged by anyone).
