Good catch! That is a watermark from the vendor where I found the image. May be their logo. I started to remove it but decided it was too much effort. I’m not near my computer which I used to post that so will reply later with the vendor’s name.

It's an outfit named dreamstime.com. Here is the link where I found the picture. Looks like their business is selling access to stock photos.
