TikTok actually pulled the plug on its own application in Hong Kong - yesterday, I think.

The new Communist imposed speech laws have life-in-prison penalties for sedition and other anti-state activities, and TikTok does not want to be part of the enforcement process.

Since TikTok is a Chinese company, I assumed their number one market was China.

Maybe they have two different applications - one for free countries, and one for police states?

I know a guy whose daughter went to China last year.
Before leaving she had to get an entirely separate phone and load it with the “approved” ChiCom apps because virtually nothing on her existing phone was permitted there, and she needed some way to communicate with people back home.
