As someone who actually ran for office -— let me tell you how this works from the Republican direction. First of all, if it is a contested primary, the party is supposed to remain neutral. They don’t, really. People will offer you suggestions of people that you “need” or who can “help” -— like the guy they suggested to me for a campaign manager that had just gotten out of jail for embezzling from his last two candidates. The deep state is very corrupt down to the local level.
If you are coming into politics from the real world, you have NO idea about the people around the party. They may look great from the outside, but close up they can be scary stupid or incompetent. Worse yet, the can have their own known or unknown agenda that overrules everything else.
It seemed like such a good idea that the DC newbie, Trump, was going to rely on some stalwart Conservative organizations. Sadly, their agenda is busy bowing to Black Lives Matter and the whole Marxist Democrat push.
Who is truly left on our side? That is really hard to know with any certainty.
I suspect POTUS knows Durham (Barr) is another dud.
The GOP was in on the whole thing, just as they were in on the Kenyanesian Usurpation.
He should can Barr and replace him with Flynn yesterday
