And you just know that they have a big party at the end of the year where they smoke all that weed and snort all that coke, etc., etc., etc.
More likely they just forget to put half of it in the evidence locker and use it to augment their pension plan.
I’ve noticed that most departments really fail on the policy and supervision side of management. Failure to train, failure to supervise, and failure to punish are all guarantees of bad performance and civil liability. Not hard to fix-—do the right things!
