That’s worth celebrating. Having married in my 30s, I can only envy a number like that.
I don’t like Carter, at all, but I will gladly celebrate this accomplishment. My wife and I celebrated 40 years last weekend. The thing that really surprises me, for lack of a better description, is we are better “friends” now than when we got married. I am amazed at how much I enjoy being around her. When I say amazed, I am referencing the way I perceive the way most talk about their marriages.
