Who on earth could have been motivated to drag 30 ton stones 20 miles? Must have been one hell of an incentive.

“Must have been one hell of an incentive.”

There’s only two real possibilities...

Either someone told the workers:

“drag these 30 ton stones and we’ll surely get into Heaven”

or

“drag these 30 ton stones and the ladies will all want to hook up with us”

Possibly both.

“Who on earth could have been motivated to drag 30 ton stones 20 miles? Must have been one hell of an incentive.”

In part Maslow’s Heiarchy of needs.

The ancients had surplus labor, after feeding themselves, so perhaps the monoliths were thought by them, to be helpful to gain favor with their God’s

e.g. spiritual life

James Michener traced stone monoliths in ancient Israel, and their role in monotheism’s origins.

Karl Yung, and Jordan Peterson might explain universal traits in humans.

“Come on, you guys. Let’s try to move that stone over there.”
