“Sessions had a great interview on Tucker tonight..”

I just watched it. Good interview. It’s starting to look like Sessions has a reasonable chance of winning this despite his “feud” with POTUS. If it wasn’t for the “feud”, he’d be winning hands down. Tubberville sounds like a joke. Alabama did go against POTUS’s pick last time so there’s a chance Sessions will win. Perhaps POTUS was aware of how weak a candidate Tubberville is so that he felt comfortable attacking Sessions. If Sessions wins the runoff you’d have to expect some sort of reconciliation between him and POTUS. What’s Trump going to do? Endorse the Democrat?

Re: Sessions vs. Tubberville

This is one where I've stayed quiet, because I'm not sure about what's going on. Tubberville was a coach, and I covered him some when he was at Texas Tech. He was one of the sleaziest coaches I ever covered, and high level coaches are extremely sleazy.

So, I've never been sure if the Trump/Sessions feud is theater or what, cause that's one thing that doesn't make sense in this. I suppose it COULD be theater, cause if Sessions really put the mechanizations for investigation in place, there might still need to be a distraction, but I'm about as MAGA as it gets, and it would be really hard for me to pull the lever for Tubberville. Not my state, so for me it's hypothetical.
