Tucker is anti-war ... Sen. Duckworth is wrong!
Washington Examiner ^ | July 7 | RandFan

Just seen this on Drudge:

Duckworth condemns Tucker for questioning patriotism: 'Walk mile in my legs'

I seem to remember Tucker was against the Iraq war from the beginning and wants an America First foreign policy.

Duckworth should show a bit more class as a senator ...

Tucker is getting the usual “he’s a racist” treatment today. He’s not going to back down. Let’s see if Fox does, though.

I remember my great-uncle telling me about socialists in his platoon trying to convert him while he was fighting in WWII. Being a vet is not mutually exclusive from becoming an America-hating socialist, no matter how noble their previous service may have been.

He plays a clip of Duckworth saying stupid things and he’s the bad guy.

Got it.

If it was up to Tucker she would never have been in Iraq.

I’m sure Tucker will point this out ...

Since she served and was wounded I can appreciate that. Butt, it does NOT automatically grant a pass. Ref john f’n kohn-hienz-kerry. Still a traitor after all these years.

“Walk a mile in my legs”

Looks like someone got emotional to the point of messing up a very simple old saying. Or maybe she’s just not that familiar with our culture. Kind of like when Obama messed up R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Where do they find these people?

I used to have some respect for Tammy Duckworth at one time but now I consider her both a disgrace to the nation and the uniform!

Duckworth is a useful idiot that uses her military record as a shield against any critics. She might as well be John Kerry in drag.

She also should not use her injuries to sustain an argument, anymore than Joe Biden should use his sons death, or his first wife’s death, as he has often done

I see her that way too. Too bad the roadside bomb didn’t finish the job.

Duckworth is not intelligent enough to realize how wildly her movement has twisted the definition of and misapplied the word “racism”. Tucker is on the mark!

Clarification. Sorry if i mislead anyone. My memory not so good on this one!

From Tucker’s wiki page:

Carlson is skeptical of foreign intervention, and has stated that he thinks “the U.S. ought to hesitate before intervening abroad.”[83]

Iraq

Carlson initially supported the Iraq War. However, a year after the invasion of Iraq, he began criticizing the war, telling The New York Observer:

I think it’s a total nightmare and disaster, and I’m ashamed that I went against my own instincts in supporting it.[...] It’s something I’ll never do again. Never. I got convinced by a friend of mine who’s smarter than I am, and I shouldn’t have done that. No. I want things to work out, but I’m enraged by it, actually.[84]

That is a fine lesson to have learned. Many are quick to blindly support and provide reverence to people in the military, vets, first responders, doctors, nurses, sports stars, and you name the group that is popular today. The fact of the matter is they are human, flawed and come in many political stripes. Be individually grateful to those that you personally know their character. It has greater meaning to the person receiving the gratitude than him blindly receiving thanks because he's in some group (think identity politics).

She’s trying to draw attention and gain sympathy because she doesn’t have legs due to her injuries. A true sacrifice but it seems to have led to McCain-like PTSD which makes them superior to everyone else who hasn’t been hurt.
