In just a few years, Elon Musk will be sending people to go live on Mars through his Starship. A hundred at a time. Armagedon need not necessarily mean the end of mankind.
Well... At least long enough so that you'd have the smug satisfaction of knowing that, since currently 35-to-40 percent of those in the U.S. are communists, there will be lots & lots of "good" communists around... /s

In the very short term, maybe. But in the long run, human nature being what it is, anarchy will soon take over in those close confines where no one is allowed outside.......And those who survive after 5 or 10 years of confinement in what is essentially a prison, there won't be anything outside that prison to go to..........No food to harvest, no gasoline to fuel their SUV's, no nothing.
