At the end of her solo, Mick was mesmerized and blown away and, if listening closely, you can hear him say “Whoa”.

Did you ever read the background on that? Apparently they called her in the middle of the night when they decided they needed someone. If I remember right she was huge and pregnant and they told her more or less....just go with it. The ‘rape/murder’ was straight from her.

IMHO, Lisa Fisher's solo in the 1995 Amsterdam version of Gimme Shelter was the absolute best.
