The little critter doesnt have a name yet, and its caretakers have yet to determine its sex. But they believe the puggle hatched on Valentines Day and say it is doing just fine.
The puggle still spends its days slumbering in the safety of a dark burrow in the ground. Its mother stays nearby and visits the burrow to nurse her baby every three to six days.

Sometimes you have to wonder if certain less than cute animals were put together by one of God’s ‘Summer Interns”.
‘Mistakes were made.”
Don’t they lay eggs like the platypus? Interns indeed.
And people think that God doesn’t exist.
I mean just look at that face. I don’t even know what it is or what it does, but I see cuteness overload.
God meant to do that.
LOL, I saw your post after I posted.
“Mistakes were made.”
Tell you what — the God of Abraham is truly the God of the living. You’ve gotta laugh. The dead don’t laugh (though they do keep busy voting demoncrat.)

so young and seems so much time with out mom? or alone? it needs playmates.
That little critter is not cute. LOL He is unique I guess.
“Cuteness overload” is a reason for God’s existence? Not quite. Romans 1:18-32.
You mean DNC politicians?
What was His reasoning behind the particular design? Perhaps as simple as, "How if I design it *this way*, because it'll give people a chuckle."
Seriously, you ever see how some of the critters look and act "out there"? Talk about free entertainment.
A face only a mother echidna could love.
Huh? What kind on negative waves are you trying to flood the zone with? You've got to have a super-narrow focus to find something here to gripe about. God *is* revealed through all of His creation, and He's a real sweetheart. Always big on the little details, for those willing to appreciate.
Mom works outside the home and visits Junior when she can.
Very different than what baby Possums do for the first few weeks. They hitch a ride on their Mommy’s back.
What “zone,” what “waves?”
San Diego has a great zoo!
