I'm a huge proponent of this. Since mid March I've been working from home--outside on my back patio. I've visited friends and family for dinners but only outside--on their back patios. I think it is very hard to transmit the virus outside in fresh air. It's easy to stay outside practically all the time in CA.
Naw! I’m coming to believe that the virus switches on a gene for stupidity. It’s the reason why we’re going through the year of living stupid. This virus is and always been a basic nothing more than a flu without a vaccine. New cases are NOT new cases, they are positive tests which account for around 10% of the overall testing numbers. That is raw, uncorrelated data without real meaning other than of those exposed, very few are hospitalized or die. The pandemic, declared by the now discredited WHO, was done in this country and others at least a month ago, but the stupid gene remains in control. Gotta keep spooking the herd, at least until November.
Dang, that last para ought to be a national briefing
Along with get your Vit D, C, and Zinc levels checked and take supplements as needed to boost them
I thought the outside exercise would increase your vitamin D

Ivor Cummins approaches this from an Engineers POV
I found it well worth the time
It helps but maybe not equally for everyone esp if you are older, wear sunscreen or are covered by clothing
supplements are a cheap way to make sure
4000 IU per day as prophylactic dose
Have you seen any MIS-C in your practice? If so, how common is it and are kids who have it recovering? We are being told it is increasingly prevalent among the young who were supposed to be the least impacted by Covid.
I dont treat pediatrics but my understanding is it is rare and most recover completely. Covid is not the only thing that causes it and a certain number of cases per year are expected outside covid. It will not keep me from sending. my daughter to school
Thank you for your reply! We have a group of teachers doing their best to keep school closed, and they are throwing anything and everything against the wall to make something stick. I read that more school age kids in my state contracted meningitis last year vs. MIS-C. I think these people like getting paid to stay at home. That’s good work....if you can get it.
