It's Sickening Seeing On Social Media Platforms Dems Framing This As Kanye Stealing Votes From Biden & Dems
7/5/2020 | Its All Over Except...

Posted on 07/05/2020 4:40:22 AM PDT by Its All Over Except ...

I've seen that narrative used repeatedly on more than one platform by Biden supporters and amazing how fast those talking points spread along with some others. They're basically saying the black guy Kanye is stealing votes from the white guy, Biden. Is that how this works now? It's low to say the least. Are those votes owned by Biden and/or Dems? Hardly.

So if black people/black Dems vote for Kanye and not Biden will that mean they "ain't black"?

And funny how they are turning on Kim, too, along with them pulling the meds card out - again.

I'm not seeing the love, compassion, and tolerance for multiple demographic groups that Dems say they really care about.

If kanye takes 10% of black vote, that is over 8% from Biden and less than 2% from Trump.

If Kanye runs ads on Biden saying “You ain’t black” and on Biden’s 94 Crime Bill, “racial jungle” comments, etc, then Biden is toast.

If he is running this year it could be a bate and switch to Trump. At the very end he packs it in and teams up with Donald. This is my fantasy mind working on overdrive.

In close elections third party candidates can swing elections. In 2000, Ralph Nader’s vote total far exceeded George W. Bush’s less than 1000 vote margin over Al Gore in Florida. Had Ralph Nader not run that year, it is almost certain several thousand Nader votes would have been cast for Gore. The election would have been over on election night with Florida going to Gore and no weeks of inspecting hanging chads, and appealing to the courts, would have occurred.
If Kanye can pull tens of thousands of votes from Biden in a number of close states, he will likely shift the election to Trump.

Democrat fear of Kanye is clear evidence of Democrat racial bias. If Democrats truly believe Blacks are making considered, reasoned, and knowledgable voting decisions they should not be concerned about Kanye being in the race. If Biden is the clear choice for the informed and intelligent voter Democrats should be convinced Biden will win no matter how many fringe candidates are on the ballot. However, if Democrats believe Blacks will vote for candidates only based on color of skin, then Democrats have a racist view of Black voters.

Plus, Democrats claim to be the party of diversity, inclusion, and freedom of expression for people of color. They should welcome candidates of color into the race. The more the merrier.

Thanks for the link. Now the initial thread makes sense with the context f knowing Kanye West was running for president. This vanity thread was assuming we all knew this and since it is such NEW news it would have been appropriate to get people up to speed. Also aren’t vanities still frowned upon here?

The black voters who have already decided to support Trump are probably going to still vote for him. Now in 2016, Trump got 8% of the black vote and probably stands to get 10% this time around at best. I've seen it bandied about here that Trump could get 15-20% of the black vote in 2020.

That seems very unrealistic. But realize that if Trump pulls off 10% of the black vote, it is still a 20% improvement over 2016 and will virtually guarantee him re-election.

But even if Kanye does pull away black Trump supporters, they will still be votes NOT FOR BIDEN and that helps Trump.

The real question is how many votes Kanye can pull away from Biden. If Kanye can run a charismatic write-in campaign and put some organization behind it (i.e. distribute write-in stickers), this could be devastating for the Biden campaign.

Biden probably needs 90% of the black vote to have a chance of winning. Hillary got 88% of it in 2016 and lost.

Personally, I think the reason Kayne decided to run this year is to help Trump's re-election and start building support for his 2024 run. Would not be surprised if he did a back-door deal with Trump on this (in exchange for Trump's endorsement in 2024). We will probably never know but tactically this makes a lot of sense.

I don't know a lot about Kanye West but I'm going to start coming up to speed. I might support him myself in 2024 if the Republicans go back to running career politicians. I don't think our Republic can survive going back to career politicians.

Some do frown upon vanities.

I think well written vanities are fine.

All it takes is a few points of black votes to note vote democrat and no Democrat will win the White House ever again.

That’s the reality of democrat politics.

They are of course going to be scared of any threat to their lock on that vote

“ Do you think Kanye will take the black voters that may have voted for Trump? This may work against us - I was hoping that Kanye would campaign for Trump, against Biden.”

Good question. And one the silly OP and previous comments didn’t think to consider. This whole thread should be sh!t canned.

Does anybody really think he is a serious candidate? Will he create a committee to get on the ballot in any state, or develop a campaign, with policies and appearances? He’s just having fun, and by November, he will get angry if anybody even asks him about politics.

As I pointed out in post #29, even if Kanye siphons voters from Trump, they are still not voted for Biden and this still helps Trump. Biden needs 90% of the black vote to win and if Kanye is able to take even 2-3% of the black vote from Biden in a somewhat organized write-in campaign, that will virtually assure Trump's re-election.

Hillary got 88% of the black vote in 2016 - and LOST.

No way in hell does Biden get 90% of blacks with both Trump and Kanye in the race.

I believe that the 2020 effort is write-in only. It is probably too late for Kanye to get on any ballot at this stage, even as an Independent.

He's really looking ahead to 2024, IMHO.

Also, Kanye needs Trump to win in order to have a good shot in 2024 (and for Trump's endorsement to mean anything).

Yes, I said it. I believe that Trump could well endorse Kanye for the 2024 election. Trump knows that if a standard politician gets back in the White House, his legacy will quickly start getting undone.

I don’t think so. Something is amiss here. Kanye was all “MAGA” and, as I still believe, has converted to Christianity. He knows black people are still on a virtual plantation with the Democratic party, he has said as much.

I think black people that have woken up and realized the lies will not turn around from their ‘walk away’ (from the D’s) position, they’ll still vote Trump but this will strip Biden of many more black votes.

If this is the case it’s quite funny, the D’s won’t know what to do. If they turn on Kanye it won’t look good to black people. Surely heads are exploding :)

Yes they are. Very telling is the total radio silence from the Democrats on Kanye entering the race.

They are in shock.

You just know that if this was bad for Trump in any way, the Democrats would all over social media this morning gloating and high-fiving each other.

I don't see that.
