Not sure, which is why I said I think instead of I know.

I saw a few I recognized. That’s kinda sad.
Yes, I just read this a month or two ago. Hilti is good, $tuff too. Along with Facom and USAG. Panasonic tools are supposed to be good too. That's another name I forgot. Bottom line: you can get good tools not made in China. F--K china.
I am OK with HK. I am OK, quite frankly, buying products almost ANYWHERE but China. So for now, I will continue to purchase Milwaukee power tools since I am already invested. But hand tools are USA, if I have to buy used or New Old Stock or new. SK tools look to be well made and built here.
Thanks, to you and everyone who has given input. It’s too easy to just ‘give in’ and buy what they put on display, but I strongly feel we have a responsibility to NOT buy from China.
You could look for some good used tools at the pawn shop or on eBay. Even if theyre China made, none of what you pay will be going back to CCP. Pawn shop pricing can often be negotiated.
neverevergiveup on boycotting China
That’s me too. I won’t shoot myself in the foot by doing without some product I need because China sucks. But that’s extremely rare.
I said I would stop buying Ryobi from TTI. But on second thought those Hong Kongers might need the support until we see if China gets away with their crackdown. So I’m on base with buying from Milwaukee for now.
