Wow, how can it suck in one star every day? Think of the distances to the nearest star to us. That is just staggering beyond belief.

Not a fully formed star every day, but the equivalent mass, about 4 million trillion trillion pounds of gas, dust, asteroids, comets, planets and, yes, a star or two now and then. Get that thing some Tums!
