“They think they can take over TEXAS when they couldnt even hold a few blocks in the middle of liberal haven Seattle?”
“...every African American descendant of slavery...”
“...carve us a piece of land out here...”
“... we’re all experts students...”
You have to laugh at these guys, even though they are deadly (probably literally before it’s all over) serious, but they are so ignorant of their own history.
I thought we fixed this back in the mid-1800’s when Liberia was created, specifically for former slaves (and their descendants, I presume) to live.
From Wikipedia:
“Liberia began as a settlement of the American Colonization Society (ACS), who believed black people would face better chances for freedom and prosperity in Africa than in the United States.[6] The country declared its independence on July 26, 1847. The U.S. did not recognize Liberia’s independence until February 5, 1862, during the American Civil War. Between January 7, 1822, and the American Civil War, more than 15,000 freed and free-born black people who faced legislated limits in the U.S., and 3,198 Afro-Caribbeans, relocated to the settlement.[7] The settlers carried their culture and tradition with them. The Liberian constitution and flag were modeled after those of the U.S. On January 3, 1848, Joseph Jenkins Roberts, a wealthy, free-born African American from Virginia who settled in Liberia, was elected Liberia’s first president after the people proclaimed independence.[7]”
The problem is, I’m pretty sure current American “African”-”Americans” today wouldn’t think of living there.
Someone should make them the offer of free transportation and $1,000 to move there and stay, just to see what they say.
LIberia has had a very...shall we say...checkered history. Just from what I’ve read, the last half century or more has not been very pretty.
There are African countries, Gambia comes to mind, that are offering citizenship and relocation assistance to any members of the African diaspora to come and live there. Wonder how many takers they’ve had.
If Liberia were smart, they wouldn't take them.
