Now that they have 15-minute tests, why are they adding probables to confirmed?
My theory:
More money since hospitals took a financial hit from the lack of elective procedures.
More control since there is now precedent to re-lockdown areas with spikes in cases.

I agree something fishy going on and I haven’t nailed it down not being in the industry but I like your theories as a start.
Did read this a.m. that govt. reimburses hospitals for those without insurance if admitted due to Corona. Quick to state “but only for corona”.
Use the old standard “follow the money”
Not much said lately about the use of ventilators but hospitals do get paid 3 times as much if they are used in treatment. $13,000 v. $39,000 with ventilator.
