And for those of you that might consider placing a "Thin Blue Line" light in your window, in support of the Police, here are some ideas/options...

By the way, don't believe any of the claims of UV cleaning/disinfection/sterilization about any of these cheap blue/purple/black LED lights. None of these are actually using the more expensive UV-C LEDs.(PM Me if you want to know if yours does, but even the real LED ones tend to be weak.)
If you are looking for SERIOUS effective portable UV-C sterilization in seconds, rather than minutes, hours, or never, look for devices that use versions of these types of 253.7nm UV-C Germicidal lamps.
(Warning! Not toys! Don't look directly at the light without UV eye protection! They'll sunburn you, too!)
The largest portable units tend to use 11 Watt UVC lamps like this one, but smaller, shorter ones are available, down to 4 watt units.
Replacement for Osram Sylvania G11t5 by Technical Precision is Compatible with Osram Sylvania https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L8L9QBZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_ro7.Eb8QEDD7H
11 Watt Enhanced Short Wave (254nm) UV Blacklight Built In LED Spotlight w/Fluorescent Mineral Rock Samples https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B4KWY8W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_up7.Eb9G9HXDM
I had an old one of these I pulled the dark glass filter out of. Less stealth/safety, but an additional 3-400 uW/CM2 sterilizing irradiation.
If you have one of these with the normal cheaper dark purple black light lamp in it, just replace it with one of these clear germicidal tubes.
My best LED sterilizer (with 9 real UV-C LEDs) does 70 to 120 uW/CM2/Second UV-C, while this unit can max my UV-C Radiometer at something over 2000 uW/CM2/Second.
I've read that an accumulation of as much as 40,000 uW/CM2 (40mW/CM2) is needed for 99.99% sterilization of a surface. That would be up to 20 seconds with this unit.
If instead you want LEDs, the best UV-C LED wand on the market right now seems to be this one.
UV Light Sanitizer Portable Sterilizing Wand Folding UV Lamp Sterilizer for Hotel Household Wardrobe Toilet Car Pet Area with 20 LEDs 59S X5 Xhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B0863RGW6S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_pi8.Eb3Y4CY2W
On their 59S ad they say Mercury UV Lamps take 15 to 120 minutes to do the job... That would be like in a hospital setting where the lamp is up in the ceiling or on the walls. NOT when using a portable device that puts the lamp an inch from the surface to be sterilized (Thus seconds, not minutes).
Take Care. UV powerful enough to sterilize can be pretty rough on some materials and most life.

Good info easy st.
Thanx for sharing
Maybe I missed something but if folks want a “blue line”, just buy an LED strip and controller for $20-40 and you’ll have from 16 to 30 ft of whatever color you want. The controllers make all kinds of cool effects too, pulsing, fading, marquee-style, etc. They can be locked onto any color or cycle between colors. Could be a pretty dramatic outdoor or window display.
Easy, I want to thank you for your helpful bootcamps. They’ve been great for me.
Folks, I’ve bugged Easy in Freepmail almost every day this week getting up to speed on using twitter. I had an old dormant account but had only used it to keep up with high school grandkids out-of-state. Never really learned to do anything but read their activity and retweet a bit.
For anyone here needing help, I’ll just say that we’ve got tutoring here if you need it.

As y’all probably know the governor mandated masks in Texas beginning at midnight last night. Again, Easy jumped in to help me in a twitter war trying to talk sense into sheep.
As our beloved MOD has done in CA, I am in the midst of digging into petitions for gubernatorial recall. If anyone has information please share. There is one on change.org but I don’t think that meets legal criteria.

Sliding a bit:
Today I checked out how the mask thing is going in the small town 5 miles from our home. We do live rural so I am aware this will be far different for the metro areas. We don’t have many cases here but our county is over the limit.
I decided to test this because my car needed an oil change before I head up to Oklahoma in a couple days. I went to my usual place for service thinking if those guys required a mask I was going to revert back to youth and do my own service. The place was busy for our town but no one, including employees had masks. They did wipe down the interior driver area with what looked like lysol wipes after driving the car out of the bay. While I was there there were 3 employees and 10 customers, all without masks, all friendly, greeting and speaking, no Karens.
After the oil change I stopped at the grocery store. The notice from our county judge echoing the govs mandate was on the entrance door but was among all the notices for garage sales, lost pets, advertising services etc so the notice was kinda lost in the shuffle. In the store all the employees had masks, maybe half the customers had masks but I never heard anyone request that a mask be worn.
The most interesting thing I noticed: customers without masks were the usual friendly, jovial townspeople. Greeting, smiling, shooting the breeze. All the customers wearing masks were silent, did not reply to a hello. Even the masked woman checking out in front of me wasn’t responding to the very friendly masked cashier. The masked people were going down the aisles looking at the floor like sheep. They only looked up to grab their items. Only 2 other masked customers looked up to make eye contact with me. They both gave me definite “Karen” looks but did not speak.
I did not count people in the store but did notice that of the masked half only one was male, an older man in a wheelchair. There were several men in the store but all were unmasked except the one.

Loved the President’s history lesson tonight! It heartened me greatly. The greatest thing I loved tho was how the whole show, the President, the other speakers, the music ALL emphasized and magnified God as supreme over our nation. It is so very wonderful to have our President acknowledge God as Lord over the United States of America. This, above all, will KAG.
