Any theories based on the theory of evolution I discount. IF they want to make a theory that is not based on the theory of evolution I could be interested.
And in the interests of full disclosure, I am not in the young earth camp and I consider the OT story of creation an allegory. Just to be clear, not to churn any waters or create big topic slide. ;-)

I understand, I interpret it as design and not evolution myself and the scientific facts in the book are the same either way.
