FO 3 and New Vegas were both very good. I don’t hold out much hope for HBO doing a good job based on any of them. West World was marginal and season two sucked. Ed Harris is a hopeless left wing a-hole, among the worst.

Each season explores a different set of premises for a world with advanced AI and robots that appear human but have superhuman strength and intelligence. The transitions from one season to the next lack exposition and the jumps between storylines can be confusing.

Probably be as unwatchable as the “Watchmen” dreck they put out this year.

"Probably be as unwatchable as the “Watchmen” dreck they put out this year. "

Aint that the truth.

I enjoyed the Watchman movie and hoped for more of the same when my app got a free viewing of the series.

Whatta disappointment !! (You get what you pay for!!)

I hope I’m wrong too.
But....odds are against it.

For those that don't know what the Fallout series is about, it's about a post-apocalyptic America where the government and society no longer exists and survivors are trying to survive in a Mad Max type world populated by Raiders and mutated beasts. In the Fallout timeline, the US and China had a massive nuclear exchange in the year 2077. The Fallout world is different from ours in that the cold war never really ended and there was never the turn away from nuclear power that occurred after WWII. Also the societal revolution of the 1960's never happened so even in 2077 America still has a 1950's feel, same 50's style dress, music, and architecture but with futuristic things like nuclear powered cars, laser and plasma weapons, intelligent robots, fusion powered battle armor and the like. (sort of the Jetsons meets Leave it to Beaver).

Could be a great series if they manage to nail the feel of the Fallout world....

Fallout 3 devoured at least 120 hours of my life.

That’s great! I know you like Fallout, or at least did, do you ever play RDR2 online?

Agreed. I played Fallout 3, NV, 4, and am on 76. The stories are extremely detailed, and there has been talk of Gears of War movies for years. The novels were amazing, adding an entirely new dimension to the games and the canon.

Really, it’s not a shoot ‘em up, even though those can be fun, too. Even the new iterations of DOOM have a detailed story, and they’re really, really interesting.

Yep FO 3 was terrific. 4 was pretty good but I didn’t like having to choose a side. F76 with the wastelander add on is better than its reputation.
