It isn’t a joke. Liberals in power excuse their side’s calls for violence as jokes and parody, while humor critical of them or “victim groups” is called violence. It isn’t even conservatives all the time. See Dave Chapelle attacked for mocking the rainbow mafia.
I agree; it was more like a parable, an inept one at that. But we don't have a saying for, "Hey, whatsamatta; you can't take a parable?"
