Justice Samuel Alito is reportedly considering retirement and that his family is ready to leave Washington.
That’s another important reason to vote for President Trump’s re-election!
Alito has been strong ... I can’t even recall a decision he flailed on.
Justice Thomas has been wanting to leave the Bench for a while, but hasn’t been able to safely do so. I think he will retire early next Trump term. That replacement will have to be super solid. If Trump wins, Ginsberg might give it up, but probably not. She’ll have to be carried it, which is likely any day now.
So, in the next 4 years, Trump stands to replace Thomas, Ginsberg, Alito and maybe Breyer. This election will decide our fate as a nation.
Have to get a 6-3 majority in order to be safe, otherwise Roberts will side with the liberals on 5-4 cases. He’ll side with the majority if he would lose anyway. That’s why he dissented in the abortion case a few years ago, he had Kennedy to run shotgun for him. Now he has to be Kennedy. His handlers are insisting on it.
