The scamdemic will end on Nov 4, 2020
Greg Abbott disappoints me
This is why the numbers are meaningless. If some bozo dies from food poisoning, they put Covid19 on the toe tag and advise Fauci of an astronomical rising trend.
Copied and sent out; many thanks for posting!
Like in 2016 when election day ended months of dishonest scare tactics with accompanying gloom and doom?
“The number of hospitalized patients includes patients with a lab-confirmed case of COVID-19 even if the person is admitted to the hospital for a different reason,” Rosales said.”
==
This makes sense in that, if when you go to the hospital because you broke your leg and they check out that nasty cough you have and find out it’s covid, the covid is the more important, overriding diagnosis.
A broken leg isn’t highly contagious (unless a lot of people trip over your cast and break their own appendages) and doesn’t require special hospital environs/setup - a bed in a general ward will do fine.
If it is falsely is presented as being admitted for covid only, that is a problem. It counts as a covid infection, but may not become a covid-based hospitalization unless the illness progresses. They need to be clearer with the terminology.
It didn’t make sense to the physicians I watched talking about it. Other diagnoses do not over rule a broken leg, until Covid-19 came along. It’s not more urgent medically, particularly if the person is asymptomatic. The current practice is designed to over report Covid-19 at all costs.
EXCELLENT !!
You win today!!
Guarantee that the hospital financial people do .... guaranteed big bucks from the Feds for flu ...insurance or nothing for anything else.
30 Jun: Arizona Republic: Arizona coronavirus update: Big number of new cases because of reporting delay
by Rachel Leingang
The department reported 4,682 new cases on Tuesday, bringing total cases to 79,215. There were 44 new deaths reported Tuesday...
Sonora Quest, a major test processor, said Monday it had a technical glitch reporting numbers on Sunday because of an increased number of test results. The lab reported 2,454 additional cases, which would bring the state’s Monday total to 3,079. Those cases will be added to the state’s data dashboard on Tuesday morning.
Tuesday’s dashboard shows 85% of current inpatient beds and 86% of ICU beds were in use for COVID-19 and other patients...
Hospital discharge numbers over the past five days have hovered around their highest levels since the state began reporting the data in early April. There were 232 people with COVID-19 discharged on Monday. There were between 250 and 270 suspected and confirmed COVID-19 patients discharged from hospitals daily from Thursday to Sunday, although total hospital numbers are much higher now...
While increased testing over the past month has contributed to an increase in numbers, it is only one factor resulting in the big increase in case numbers. The percentage of tests coming back positive has spiked sharply since mid-May, when Ducey’s stay-at-home order expired, indicating a significant increase in community spread.
During the past three weeks, cases increased by 169% and tests increased by just 77%. Last week, 20% of tests were positive...

Here’s what you need to know about Tuesday’s new numbers...
County cases: 48,592 in Maricopa...
Maricopa County public health officials said last Wednesday that more than one-third of all their cases had been reported just in the last week...
People aged 65 and older made up 1,209 of the 1,632 deaths, or 74%...
Ventilator use for suspected and confirmed COVID-19 patients was at 455 on Monday. Overall, 55% of ventilators remained available Monday...
Vice President Mike Pence is coming to Arizona. Pence and Dr. Deborah Birx of the White House coronavirus task force will visit Phoenix on Wednesday and meet with Ducey and health care teams to discuss the unfolding COVID-19 crisis...
Key figures to watch
The percentage of positive tests is increasing. This is the opposite direction from White House reopening criteria. The percentage of positive tests out of all tests per week increased to 20% last week. That figure was 12% a month ago, up to 14% three weeks ago, to 19% two weeks ago. When the state decided to reopen on May 16, that number had been trending down, but it has been increasing ever since...

We haven’t had a pandemic for a century, so it’s likely the doctors haven’t seen anything like it in their lifetime. If Ebola had become pandemic, they would also have seen things they hadn’t before.
If the docs had been around in the 50s, a lot of things would be “deja vu all over again”:
“Many doctors resented the amount of fuss made about polio, and complained that all of this exaggerated fear diverted attention from more serious health threats. The majority of people who had polio never even knew it. Of those who were diagnosed, most recovered with little or no disability. In 1952, the worst epidemic year, three thousand people died from polio, while in 1950, thirty-four thousand died of tuberculosis. In 1957, 62,000 people died from influenza during a notorious epidemic. Although by this time a cure for polio had been discovered, the chances of contracting and dying from influenza were much greater than the chances of contracting and dying from polio even in years prior to this epidemic.”

They’ve broadened the definition of what they call “symptoms” to include things like runny nose, etc. These are now called “probable” cases. In addition, if you’ve been exposed to anyone w CV and still test negative, you’re still “probable”
We havent had a pandemic for a century, so its likely the doctors havent seen anything like it in their lifetime.

The video I watched included doctors discussing how Covid-19 is treated differently from all other infectious diseases. They noted, as immunologists, that quarantining healthy people is damaging to health because our immune systems require contact with pathogens to keep our immunity fine tuned and functioning. They seemed disgusted by the Covid-19 isolation of the HEALTHY.
They commented on the bizarre classification of a COPD patient as Covid-19 or classifying persons with a diagnosis of Covid as that person being hospitalized or dying FROM Covid-19. Medicine normally does not function like that.
It’s not that Covid-19 is different from other contagions, it’s that it’s politicized beyond belief to hamstring the economy of an entire nation for no reason.
No doubt !!
The TDHS must have county by county data. Why are they not releasing it, hmmm????
