I was told that the CDC ordered the payments. Otoh, I have NO idea who will STOP the “cash cow” for the hospitals.

I was told by an RN, who I’ve known for over 20 years, that a patient, who was brought the ER at a local hospital with a “flash wound” from a .22LR pistol, was “charted as a COVID-19 related condition”, so that the $$$$$$ would be paid.
(SORRY, but I believe that doing that is as DISHONEST as ROBBERY.)
