If Fedzilla is paying for observational stays for WuFlu patients, hospitals looking to make a buck will happily take in younger, healthier WuFlu patients.

If these aren’t ICU admissions, I smell a ‘Rat.

A thread here a few hours ago pointed out that a new NIH Rule sez that for every new Covid-19 case the hospital should assume 15 others also have it, and report it as 16 cases.

You probably mean this thread:

States Ordered To Fraudulently Inflate COVID-19 Cases 15 Times Actual Rate

And if so, don't believe it. It's BS. No one is inflating their confirmed cases x15.

The government isn't paying for observational stays for Covid patients.

Covid-positive people can't get into hospitals except in emergencies.

Illegals from Mexico have been coming across the border for decades to receive health care in America paid for by the American taxpayer and Mexico has never repaid us a dime for it. They believe in some bigoted notion that we owe it to them. I said many times here I despise Mexico and it's people for this reason, among many others.

The success of The United States is not the reason for the failure of Mexico.

Bullsh!t. I work in a hospital ER in NJ. We’re getting patients with Covid,(not quite as many as three months ago), and what are called ‘’rule outs’’. That means Covid was suspected but eventually ruled out. What are you, Hispanic? You seem to have a soft spot for illegals from Mexico.

Is your hospital admitting Covid-positive people for elective procedures?

We’re doing elective procedures as to Covid positive I don’t know. I tested Covid positive asymptomatic three months ago. I was made to stay home for a week and then I was allowed to return. I work in the ER. We’ve seen a significant decrease in new Covid cases.

In general hospitals require a negative PCR test before they'll admit for elective procedures. It only makes sense.

That's why I laugh at the people who say the rise in Covid hospitalizations is due to Covid-positive patients in the hospital for other reasons.

ER visits are different but they don't count as admissions.

When admitted in the ER you are an admission.

Just came back from Tijuana. Very few to no observed sicknesses.

Tijuana is about where California was in March. Lockdown policies, offices shutting down by 2pm to 4pm. Not much different than the 50’s siesta time.

Largest difference is that all the middle aged to elderly refuse to go to the hospital, as they fear being diagnosed from a cough or sneeze or runny nose or 1 deg rise or lower body temperature, as COVID-19, then being quarantined in a lobby full of contagious bed-ridden victims, catching the virus and being given treatment to die in the hospice.

Likewise, nobody is going to the hospital or doctor’s for normal treatments and procedures, from fear of being labeled as COVID-19 and then being interred until dead.

Hospitals and doctors offices are economically shutting down because of no work. They are collapsing the healthcare industry. Appears this may be a staged phased attack prior to a more fatal biochemical attack on Western society.

When admitted in the ER you are an admission.

The CDC tracks ER visits and admissions as two different things.

Percent of visits resulting in hospital admission: 10.4%

But just to eliminate the semantics, an ER visit by itself certainly doesn't count as a hospitalization which is the standard for Covid reporting.
