I've made a half dozen matched sets of little cowboy hats, boots and diaper covers that I donated to the local Pregnancy Care Center.

I made the first set for a friend's first grandchild and then I just couldn't stop, they were so cute and I am on a mission to use up the stash before I die.

Although now I am distracted by knitting an “old shale” afghan in shades of grey and black for the youngest for Christmas.

The last few years, I have been doing crocheted ornaments as gifts, but I really am trying to accelerate the stash reduction, so I am doing this pattern.
