When Congress gave them protection as a neutral carrier, not as an editor/publisher. When they decide to censor content, especially political speech, they became a publisher. Congress did that to allow platforms to delete obscene material, mainly pornography. Are you really seeking to undo that - and force websites to allow porn? How conservative of you.

Wow. Nice straw man you built there. It's not a straw man, controlling pornography is literally the reason Congress passed the law in the first place. Look it up. If you're going to prevent websites from moderating content, things are going to get very wild very quickly.
