Isn’t that the movie “Somewhere in Time”? I love that movie because it uses Rachmaninoff.
That’s the movie I was thinking of. I couldn’t recall the title. I think Christopher Reeves was in it. Late radio talker Art Bell used to bring that movie up several times a year.
Rachmininoff would have been at the top of his fame during that period, along with Schubert and his Trout Quintet Concerto. One of my favorites.
