I hate when I come across posts like this. None of it means anything to me because I have no idea what it is B..whatever. It’s BS as far as I know. It’s fun to grow old.
The “FreeBSD is dying” SlashDot meme actually dates me as over the hill. It’s a pretty ancient meme. ;)
If you’ve heard of Linux, FreeBSD was one of the “unix like” alternatives. It’s still around. It still has adherents. Personally, I no longer care. I just use what works, and that’s usually some variant of Linux for server stuff.
It’s just an old SlashDot thing if someone says “XXX is dying.”, to post that old meme.
IMO Seattle isn’t “dying”. It’s been a big open air bum encampment for years due to the leftie takeover. Really, CHAZ should be renamed to BUMZ. Belligerent Unemployable Moron Zone.
