A city spokesperson said the private security details ordered for council members Andrea Jenkins, Phillipe Cunningham and Alondra Cano have cost taxpayers $63,000 over the past three weeks – a rate of $4,300 per day. For 21 days of security that would be $3,000 per day. If it was for five days per week the $4,300 per day figure would jibe. I am guessing that they got 7 days per week and that we have a writer and an editor that are mathematical illiterates.
