None of this would have happened if a career felon who was high on drugs and had serious health issues hadn’t resisted arrest.

Bingo- The police did follow procedure- while waiting for ambulance to show up- which was nearly there-
We can control the actions of our police. We can't control the actions of career criminals, we can only arrest and prosecute them.
The fault of this incident lies 100 percent with the police, period, end of story.
That crap happens. It's the responsibility of the police to use the minimum amount of force needed to attain and maintain control of the subject. That did not happen in this case. Now the subject is dead, the former officer has destroyed his life and and will probably spend the rest of his life in prison. And that's before we even begin to assess the deaths and damage to property, not to mention the fundamental changes that will come from all this. The police officer is the one person who could have broken the chain of events had he performed his job correctly.
Exactly right. And furthermore, if George Floyd hadn't become an Antifa or BlackLivesMatter icon, they have dozens of other thugs to pick for their posterboys. None of these folks need much of an excuse to riot and loot.
Ain’t that the truth!
