People live where they want. If they choose to live in progressive urban environments, then let them be. To federalize troops would only feed the frenzy. I know I wouldn’t want my son sent to Seattle, though he’s been in many worse situations—the difference being he was able to perform his job without undue political influence.
The left is looking for its Kent State, and anyone who doesn’t believe they will kill for it is an idiot. These leftists are violent and have been given license by the local and State government. If you want to head into that nest of vipers, go ahead. Leave the military out until they can go in weapons free.
I don’t see conservatives protesting in those areas, nor shooting those who assault or burn.
I see peace in the areas where conservatives do - or would, but seeing chaos doesn’t happen because they clearly will if it does.
There were BLM protests around here. Signs were waved, and then they went home. No problems, because looters & arsonists get shot around here.
So if you’re a Conservative, a disable veteran, a business owner, or a Christian in Seattle, Boston, New York Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Michigan, or wherever else that liberal government is in charge, you have no rights. The Federal government won’t help you when they come to burn, rape, loot, assault, and murder.

There is no law (or Berlin type wall) that keeps conservatives, disabled veterans, business owners or Christians living in those cities. MOVE!
Those individuals you named and others like them are no different then hostages.
First, like the article pointed out, the Federal Government is not the first line of defense. City Mayors have the responsibility for their cities, then the Governors have over all responsibilities. It is actually unconstitutional for the Federal Government (in most cases) to get involved unless asked in.
If asked, President Trump would send troops. As for money I say no. All these Democrat strong holds use their money not on infrastructure but on social welfare schemes to buy more votes. They are not poor, they just use the money they have poorly.
The demands being made by the left are getting more extreme (partly because some have given in to their first demands) but what you have to understand they do not expect their demands to be met. Why? Then their would be no reason to terrorize, burn, loot and murder.
The American people will respond when the time is right.
Traditional Americans need to move out of those hellholes before crime skyrockets and property values drop like a lead balloon.
You have the right to pack up and leave the hellhole. Vote with your feet.
Many people have lived in those places for generations and certainly did not “choose” to live in this progressive hell hole but do not have the ability to leave. And in any case, why should they be driven out of their home?

As folks here point out, just sitting as Minneapolis burns and Seattle burns and as NYC and Chicago allow murder and mahem to run wild is causing a lot of folks to loose heart, become despondent, and give up.
It was one thing to let everyone see what would happen with these guys in charge. It's another to let it go on and on and on. The counter-attack is needed now. It isn't just meme war and information war. It's a real war of bullets and bludgeons and Molotov cocktails.
Someone at DOJ needs to start tweeting all the thugs that have been rounded up and charged with federal felonies. That's step 1. But you need to use the National Guard to put down insurrection in some places.
Send the NG into SF and clean up Pelosi's $4it-hole of a city.
And just stop it with the futile "conservative gestures," "I am offering for my honorable colleagues consideration legislation that will fix the problem." As Alinsky said “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.” True conservatism is a fraud, a bunch of words written by pampered puerile elites in their offices before they loosen their ties, and break out the bottle of single-malt, while the mob outside is destroying the businesses of people who pulled themselves up by their bootstraps, and put their life savings, blood, sweat, and toil into making free-enterprise work.
Those are the folks Trump and the rest of us should be defending, with armed force, if needed. Those are the true democratic free-market patriots. And Trump needs to tweet some Generals and excoriate them for their view that the American fighting man does not defend patriots.
He needs to fire a couple of them along with that idiot of a Sec Def of his, Esper, a wonderful MIC technocrat if ever there was one.

Agreed: Normal people, citizens of this country, taxpaying working people are being held hostage and no one does a thing. I can see the politics, even agree with it...but it is Trumps job to enforce the constitution. I am a Trump man, but this was a mistake, you can’t pick and choose. If it was me held hostage I would sue.

How the world has changed. My dad was in the national guard in the 50’s and his unit was called to help a town in New England that was devastated by a hurricane. The town leaders met the caravan of soldiers at the town border. The leaders told the guard they don’t want outsiders help. They could handle their own problems.
We live in a different world.

Sorry, I do not believe that they cannot get out. That’s a lazy excuse for staying. I have lived all over the country, and worked around the world. Anyone can do anything, but it’s certainly more comfortable to stay—at least until it’s not. Now, you want to be saved?!
What does that look like, exactly? How does old Uncle Sugar come to your rescue? Guns blazing and tanks roaring through neighborhoods doesn’t inspire a peaceful resolution. Maybe the troops can form a police line and walk through inch-by-inch not worried about sniper fire or IEDs, or even more likely, an instigator firing into a “peaceful” crowd from behind their lines. America’s military isn’t a police force, and you’d better hope to God it doesn’t become one—for that is the path to tyranny.
The only way to address this responsibly would be to arrest the mayors and governors by force and then allow the locals to do their jobs. The big assumption in all this is that you still have a functioning republic, with responsible actors, but that’s not the case here, is it? Our only trustworthy executive is besieged by (at least) half the government, and you want him to engage on their playing field!
How do you save a state that no longer conforms to the Constitution and wants to institute mob rule? The Jacobins have erected their guillotines, and the Marxists their scaffolds, and the mob rules. This is what democracy looks like, and we have two generations who have no idea that this is the reason we had a Republic.
I truly feel sorry for the people in Seattle; but I feel worse that we’re discussing how to save a neighborhood when our entire country stands at the brink of war, and only one side is prepared. The Left has been working for over a century and has control of literally every institution. They’ve overstepped here, but they’ll continue undermining everything America stands for, and most people will continue living in their comfortable warm neighborhood, like the proverbial frog in his pot.

It’s the responsibility of the Mayors of the cities and the Governors of their States to deal with the factions that are rioting and looting businesses.
The President can’t take over and send in troops unless the Governors request him to do so.
This is not China. The States have their rights and with those rights comes responsibility for dealing with problems.
After Trump tweeted that if the mayor of Seattle didn't do something, "I will" - he did nothing.
Then, he turned 180 degrees. Besides not doing anything, he said it was "great" to see the destruction, but acknowledged that he could act "anytime we want."
As I said before, Rope-A-Dope is just great fun and games, until it's your blood, your business, and you life on the line.
And if they don't act, the President is well within his authority under Title 10 and other established law to act. In fact, he threatened he would. Then he said he could act "anytime" he wanted - so he is validating that he can act.
